WE ARE IN SANTIAGO

Santiago

After 40 days of walking across Northern Spain, sleeping in a different bed every night and meeting lots of lovely and interesting people we arrived in Santiago and the forecourt of the Cathedral at 2:30 pm on 1st June 2014.

Celebrating

Hugs all round as we met up with people we have seen along the way…. in front of the Cathedral. … in the queue for our certificate. … while we had a well earned beer and when walking to get the other certificate -commemorating St Francis of Assisi who walked the Camino 800yrs ago.

Our certificate says we walked 775km. Our guide book says 783km. After Finesterre it will be well over 800km. WOW!!!!!!
