Day 2. The Virgin to Burguete

What a Difference a Day Makes

The taxi driver taking us back to where we stopped walking yesterday gave us a minute to photograph
a spectacular scene. While yesterday was sunny and we could see for miles, today we walked above the clouds. The cold strong wind meant that the wet weather pants were used to keep warm! Then once we had descended the mountain we were caught in a rain shower. Kathmandu had a lot to answer for. My so called waterproof shoes are porous. ..

A bit of Spanish is helpful

Now that we are in Spain my Spanish is helping us along. Jenny I missed your foot massage in Roncevalles but am giving myself one each night on Libby’s advice.

Next Post: More Rain
